Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect personal data when you visit this site or work with us.
Last updated: 18 August 2026
This policy explains how Wsello Studio (“Wsello”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit this website, contact us, or engage us to run marketing campaigns. We are the data controller for the information described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request an audit or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, and details about your advertising accounts and budgets. If you become a client, we also process billing details and the contact details of people on your team.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website we may collect your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent on the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Client advertising data
When we manage your marketing, we access campaign, conversion, and performance data inside platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, Search Console, and your analytics or ecommerce tools. We access this data on your instruction and only to deliver the services you have engaged us for. Where we process that data on your behalf, you remain the controller and we act as a processor.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and prepare and deliver your free audit.
- To provide, manage, and report on marketing services.
- To invoice clients and keep financial records.
- To improve our website and understand how visitors use it.
- To send service updates and, where permitted, occasional marketing email you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
Legal bases for processing
We are established in India and process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, relying on your consent or on a legitimate use permitted by that Act.
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, because you are based in the UK or EU or your campaigns reach people there, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering our services); legitimate interests (running and improving our business, and direct marketing to business contacts); consent (non-essential cookies and marketing email where required); and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to make the site work, and analytics cookies to understand traffic and improve content. We may also use advertising and measurement technologies provided by Meta and Google. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site functions.
Sharing your information
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, each bound to protect it and use it solely on our instructions:
- Advertising and analytics platforms, including Meta and Google.
- Email, scheduling, hosting, and cloud storage providers.
- Accounting and payment providers.
- Professional advisers, or authorities where we are legally required to disclose.
International transfers
Some providers are located outside your country. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Data retention
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months from last contact, client records for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years for tax and legal purposes, and website analytics for up to 26 months. We delete or anonymise data once it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your personal data, to request portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in California, you may also request details of the categories of personal information collected and opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any right, email hello@wsello.com. We respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. If you are in the UK or EU, you can go to your local supervisory authority instead.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege access to ad accounts. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the data we hold.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
